Why do you think God came to Earth as the Lion of Judah? Because God is Jewish? Or because these were the people in which he had to deal with. Judah Father of the Jews
Judah is the father of the Jewish people making a majority of Israelites not Jewish.
In 1767 BC, Judah would sell his brother Joseph into slavery for silver. While in slavery, Joseph would rise to become the Prime Minister of Egypt and father two sons Ephraim and Manasseh.
Israel (Jacob) would adopt Joseph’s sons and pass the Abrahamic blessing on to them. This would divide Joseph into 2 tribes making for a total of 13 tribes.
Judah’s two eldest sons would die, and he would end up bowing down to his brother Joseph.
The sons of Joseph were to become fruitful and multiply among the nations forgetting who they are, which makes sense as their names were Ephraim (“Fruitful”) and Manasseh (”Forgetful”).
A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew.

Is The Jewish Homeland Israel?
Israel was originally called the Land of Canaan, named after Noah’s grandson.
God commanded the Israelites to punish the Canaanites for their sexual immorality, which led to child sacrifice and eventually cannibalism.
Canaan + Baal = Cannibal
Baal was the god of Canaan, and the priests were known for eating the children after they were sacrificed to him.

Joseph’s Victory in Canaan
In 900 BC, the Israelites would conquer the Land of Canaan, and it was split into northern and southern regions. Joseph would have the Kingdom of Israel to the north, while Judah the Kingdom of Judah to the south. They would have different religions and believe in different gods.
While Judah would stay in Judea, Joseph would ally with the Phoenicians and establish colonies and trade posts all over the Mediterranean.
The Corruption of Israel
The Kingdom of Israel would be corrupted by foreign ideologies, and like the Canaanites, it would fall into materialism, sexual immorality, and child sacrifice. This would lead to them being conquered by the Assyrian Empire.

The Christian Pharisee Split
- Some Jews accepted Jesus and the New Covenant.
- Some believed their Messiah would come wielding a sword to destroy the Roman Empire (fueled by them not wanting to pay taxes) and went with the Pharisees retreating to Babylon to develop the Talmud and Judaism.
Christianity: 30 AD – 70 AD
Judaism: 200 AD – 400 AD
Jews would claim that the Talmud was the oral law passed down through the years and therefore predates Christianity.
The Jews would continue to revolt with Kitos War 115 AD – 117 AD, and the Bar Kokhba revolt 132 AD – 136 AD. They were defeated in each instance, causing the land to be renamed Syria Palaestina.

Kind of and not really. They believe in the Talmud; my impression of their claim to believing the Torah (Books 1-5 of The Old Testament) is, so people don’t look into the Talmud. It also gives them leverage to discredit the Bible by redacting a great deal of it.
Is The Old Testament All About Jews?
If Jews were the only true descendants of Abraham, yes, you could say it’s about Jews. But they aren’t the only descendants of Isaac or even Israel; they’re jumping back 3 generations from Judah when they are claiming to be Abraham’s rightful children. Israel alone had 12 sons, all of whom developed tribes and nations.
So the Old Testament of the Bible is not even mostly about Judah’s descendants, let alone all about them.
The Verdict
You see, Jesus is troubling for the Jew on many levels. They find themselves unable to refute his character on Earth, so they deny his divinity. At this point, we are left to believe that such a benevolent altruistic soul was also a liar.
But we should know him for the fruit he bears, and the fruit of Jesus was good. Now the fruit of those who denounced him… let’s just say I have a hard time believing in this crew, in either their past or current incarnations.
As the Pharisees of old learned nothing from the Atonement, only progressing further in Satans curriculum with each passing century. Their lies merely fodder for the ignorant to which there was unfortunately never a short supply.
